Aquasol SGP-1.50 SoluGap water soluble socket weld spacer ring, Size: 1.5" or 50mm SoluGap is the most stable water soluble socket welding spacer ring, with unique patent-pending tabbed edges to keep the spacers stable for effective joint socket alignment. Product Features: Eliminate the need to pre-measure or guess the size of a gap opening before welding, SoluGap provides the 1/16" minimum gap required by ANSI 31.1, Section III, ASME, US Navy & Military Codes. For heavy duty welding applications, custom sizes and thicknesses of 1/8" are available upon request. SoluGap is easy to install and ready to use. Just snap in and weld! Unlike other spacers, SoluGap dissolves completely and does not corrode. SoluGap costs less and performs better ... It’s the economical solution! Made from Aquasol’s eco-friendly water soluble board, SoluGap is compatible with any metal! SoluGap has uniquely engineered 3-point tabs around the edges to hold it in place, even when the socket is sideways or upside down.
