Because top of standpipe is located above top seal, air is self-purged from filter (No need for vents: improved filter efficiency). Designed for use on main water line in schools, large homes, office buildings, apartment complexes, hotels & motels, Laundromats, campgrounds, and mobile home parks Lids feature studs with hand-tight able bronze wing nuts; Pressure-rated to 150 psi and hydrostatically tested "Cartridge Cluster" lifters for easy installation, removal & service. Uses multiples of standard 9-3/4" cartridges.
