TFW is a nonhardening, nontoxic sealant for sealing and protecting threaded connections. Its low coefficient of friction allows tight makeup with low torque and breaks out easily without damaging threads. TFW provides sealing performance upon application and is specifically formulated to seal threaded connections against leakage due to internal pressure. TFW contains no lead or harmful metals and is perfectly safe for use on potable water line. TFW is listed under the Uniform Plumbing Code (IAPMO), File No. 1282.
