The most widely used coating thickness testing gauge in the world! The Mikrotest GM Manual uses the magnetic attration Principle to measure electroplating and paint coatings on steel.
- Manual operation means that the operator controls the entire measurement process after the magnet is set on the surface. The operator turns the scale applying a pull-off force to the magnet until the magnet lifts off the coating at which time the operator stops turning the scale. The thickness can then be read off the scale.
